In the following video, Larry Becker presents an overview of the Sony Alpha a7R Mirrorless Digital Camera and  its features, such as its high-resolution full-frame sensor. Becker compares the a7R to the a7, especially in regard to its 36.4MP full-frame sensor, as well as its differences in focusing performance and overall speed. Becker also talks about the a7R's use of a gapless on-chip lens design and omission of an optical low-pass filter to enhance imaging capabilities, sharpness, and resolution. Beyond the differences, the similarities between the two cameras are also touched upon, as well as justification for why a photographer might choose one camera over the other.
