Capture anything from a group photo to a bird flying in the distance with the incredibly far-reaching 65x optical zoom lens on the PowerShot SX60 HS Digital Camera from Canon. The camera also features the Canon HS System, a combination of the 16.1MP High Sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor, which results in greatly improved low-light performance. Additionally, the SX60 can capture full HD 1080p video at 60 fps and has an external mic jack for recording higher-quality audio.

The lens is equivalent to 21-1,365mm in 35mm format and has Intelligent Image Stabilization to compensate for camera shake at super-telephoto focal lengths and during low-light image acquisition. This system chooses from eight modes, optimized for different scenarios. Also, a High Speed AF system and 6.4 fps continuous shooting speed allow for extremely rapid image capture, well suited for action. There is even a Zoom Framing Assist function that will track a subject and automatically adjust the zoom to ensure that it is completely in the frame.

Available on the rear of the camera are a 3.0" vari-angle LCD screen and an electronic viewfinder. These provide you with multiple options for composing images, and they each offer 922k-dot resolution—and, the SX60 packs in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC for connecting to a compatible mobile device.
