Pentax K-S1 DSLR Camera

Combining form and function, the new Pentax K-S1 DSLR includes innovative, easy-to-use camera features that can help improve your photography, while being available in an array of colors that can complement your personal style.

A  20.12-megapixel CMOS sensor with ISO sensitivity of up to 51200, coupled with Pentax’s PRIME MII imaging engine, delivers high-resolution imagery that can satisfy novices and skilled photo enthusiasts alike, while aspiring cinematographers can enjoy the K-S1’s Full HD movie recording with stereo audio. When taking photos, indicator LEDs on the body provide at-a-glance system status and the camera’s EFFECT option can apply selected effects and filters to the preview displayed on the large, 3.0" high-resolution LCD monitor, so what you see is what you get.

Autofocus operation is fast and smooth, with a SAFOX IXi+ AF sensor module that has 11 sensors, nine of them cross type. Accurately tracked subjects can then be captured with the K-S1’s high-speed shutter, which reaches up to 1/6000 of a second and a burst rate of 5.4 images per second. In-body shake reduction and an anti-aliasing filter simulator ensure that your images always look their best, while the K-S1’s variety of color options, ranging from a definitive “Blue” to a subtle “Moon Silver,” allow you to pick the look that best suits you.
