HOT SELLER FILTERS FOR PROSUMER VIDEO CAMERAS

CLEAR:

WARM UV:

Combines our best haze-penetrating filter (absorbs 97% of UV light) and our Warm 812 filter which reduces excess blue from video lights and creates healthy looking skin tones. Also serves as a lens protector.

LINEAR POLARIZER:

Improves color saturation, deepens blue skies, and reduces reflections and glare. Reduces amount of light entering camera to allow wider lens apertures in situations where reduced depth of field is wanted. Available in a rotating mount.

BLACK PRO MIST #1/2:

Achieves the "Film Look" in video. Softens images by adding a "mist" look to the scene, while reducing contrast. Tones down highlights. Also available in densities 1/8, 1/4, and 1to 5. Some densities are not available in all sizes. Available in neutral or warm tone effect.

ULTRA CONTRAST #3:

Reduces contrast between shadows and highlights by spreading light from the highlight area into the shadow area. Lightens shadows. Available in densities 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 5. Some densities not available in all sizes.

WARM 812:

Exclusive Tiffen filter warms skin tones and reduces the excess blue cast often caused by electronic flash and shooting in outdoor open shade. Minimizes lighting flashback on cheeks and foreheads.

FL-D:

Reduces blue/green cast often seen in video shot under fluorescent lighting. Renders proper color tones.

STAR 4PT. 2mm:

Creates star-like bursts of light from light sources and highly reflective surfaces. Available in a rotating filter mount. For additional star effects, consider Tiffen's HFX Star Filters, including Hollywood, Hyper, North, and Vector star effects.

SOFT FX #1 or #2:

Softens overall image without losing sharpness. Erases blemishes, so it's ideal for portraits. Also available in densities 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 to 5. Some densities are not available in all sizes. Available in neutral or warm tone effect

COLOR GRAD ND 0.6:

Combines half clear optical glass and half Neutral Density 0.6 effect, with a soft feathered edge in between. Reduces light by 2 f:stops. Ideal on "washed out" cloudy days. Achieves better image exposure when there is a large exposure difference between the sky and lower portion of the scene. There are many other Color Grad effects include CG Blue and CG Sunset.

BLACK DIFFUSION FX:

Offers a more subtle softening effect than Soft FX. Allows very minimal light flare. Available in densities 1/2, 1, ,2 ,3 ,4 and 5.
