Ron Martinsen, a well-known international photography blogger will be doing a live and current version of his popular, “Which DSLR should I buy?” and “Which lens should I buy?”, articles to help educate the beginner on the real costs of getting into digital photography and how they should think beyond the camera kit. Ron will discuss his current recommendations of cameras and lenses from Canon and Nikon as well as the myriad of accessories one should budget for when beginning their DSLR photography voyage (i.e., flashes, tripods, lens cleaner, hoodman loupes, reflectors, etc…) to get them started. Attendees should leave having a better idea of the real cost of getting into DSLR photography and be able to assemble a prioritized wish list of gear that will help them get the best quality for their budget.
