Copyright in the age of digital copying and distribution presents its own set of unique challenges. By understanding the law, you understand your own rights to the work you create. By understanding the current cultural climate as it relates to copyright, you gain perspectives in utilizing new tools to leverage your position as a visual communicator.

Richard Kelly is a Pittsburgh-based editorial and corporate photographer creating environmental portraits with style. Currently, the President of Richard Kelly Photography and an educator at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers, from 2003 to 2007 Richard was the Director of Photography for WQED Multimedia. A past president of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), he is also a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society of Photographic Educators.
