In this seminar, Joshua Fischer from Datacolor will be discussing the basic concepts of color calibration and the benefits it can provide for the serious image maker. Josh will highlight the importance of color management in programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Aperture. He will go over the specifics of the Spyder3 color management steps including the Spyder3Print and how this can improve your end product while saving you time and money. A demonstration of the product will follow and a thorough question and answer session for anything not covered in the class. At the end of the event there will be a drawing for a Spyder3Elite and other Spyder3 paraphernalia. This dynamic presentation will teach you the value of color management, and how understanding the importance of color is a key component to great imagery.

Joshua Fischer

Joshua Fischer has joined Datacolor as the NSA Sales Representative, Digital Color Solutions business unit. He graduated from The New York Film Academy where he majored in cinematography. Since then, he's worked as a professional photographer and videographer, a program coordinator maintaining scientific equipment at Merck Pharmaceuticals and Schering-Plough. Most recently he was the Visual Merchandise Manager and an Associate Buyer for Party City Corporate.
