What is the right approach for your business and how can you achieve your goals efficiently?Lindsay Adler and Rosh Sillars will share their experiences and the experiences of others to help you successfully utilize new media and social networking.Co-authors of the book "The Linked Photographers’ Guide to Online Marketing and Social Media", Adler and Sillars have tips and tricks for improving any photographer’s online presence.

Rosh will talk about why social media and digital marketing is important to the modern photographer. Lindsay will demystify and share some best practices of the common tools used in social media such as blogs, Facebook and Twitter. After this lecture, both photographers will be available for a book signing ($30 per book).
Speakers
Lindsay Adler

Lindsay Adler is a professional portrait and fashion photographer based in New York. Her work has appeared in dozens of publications internationally. She is a regular contributor to publications such as Popular Photography, Rangefinder, Shutterbug, and Professional Photographer.

For the past 10 years, she has owned and operated a studio in upstate New York, and currently she shoots for several international fashion magazines including Sublime, MindFood and many more. She has received dozens of awards, scholarships, and honors for her work. Currently she shoots for clients and runs workshop out of her Manhattan studio.

Adler published her first book, Linked Photographer: New Media and Social Networking, in May 2010 with her second book, Fashion Flair for Portrait and Wedding Photography available in February 2011.

Each year Adler teaches thousands of photographers through workshops, conferences and seminars, as well as through her educational videos and content on her blog. She teaches on a wide variety of topics, ranging from Photoshop techniques, to fashion photography, to nature photography. She teaches at venues worldwide and at major conferences like WPPI, PPE and more.
