Q&A with artists and director Daniel Zana to follow.
Daniel was first captivated with the visual storytelling medium in high school when he shot several short films for a video production class. He then attended Cal State Northridge where he majored in Film Editing with a minor in Journalism. Since then he's worked on music videos for bands like Against Me!, Death Cab For Cutie, Tahiti 80, The Willowz, as well as numerous short films, commercials, and feature films. He is currently finishing up his feature length documentary, The Vinyl Frontier, a film about the world of designer vinyl toys. When he's not making movies about toys, he works at B&H Photo shooting and editing the company's video podcasts.
He currently lives on the Lower East Side and enjoys biking, painting, and photography in his spare time.
