I liked this bag because the set up made sense. Although camera bodies are not convenient to pull out quickly. it was light and perfect for taking two bodies on a plane and put my lenses in a pelican case

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

This bag is great for carrying a laptop along with a camera and a few essentials. This bag does not leave a TON of room for anything else. The bottom compartment can be pulled out to access a camera, a lens, and a flash (space varies depending on camera model). The camera can be hard to access at times because the compartment is a bit clumsy to pull out. The top compartment can fit a laptop charger and maybe a mouse. Would recommend when on a discount.

It is an excelente backpack for travelling with just a few accesories. A big camera can fit in the lower space, with a medium lens. And it has space in the upper part for your personal stuff. Also it has space foto an ipad or small computer.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

I use this bag everyday to go to college. I carry my laptop and also my ipad sometimes, a notebook or two, al sorts of cables and chargers, three lenses and my camera. There is zipper inside of the main compartment that I didnt know pf when I bought the bag, it's great! I can open it and carry a medium/full sized tripod inside or convert the whole bag to a regular bagpack

This manfrotto bag is very well designed, convenient, comfortable, and tough.
Just what I was looking for

My only con is that some of the small pockets are too small and hard to use

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

The bag conveniently fits my Sony A77 with an attached 18-135 mm zoom lens, a 35 mm prime, 13 inch Macbook Pro, and all other accessories like chargers, and extra battery. It's a good day pack. The bag can get tight if you own a lot more lenses. I'm 5 feet tall and it's size is not too big for me. Materials look well made. The side pocket could have been a little bigger. Hard to put a water bottle.

                Great camera backpack!

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

As I suspected from Manfroto, this bag is fantastic. It's durable, sleek and intuitively designed for a camera enthusiast or light traveling DSLR professional.

If you plan to pack in lighting and sound equipment as well you might want to go with a larger model but even then you might consider a second pack altogether. I'm not sure smashing your gear in one back for sake of traveling light isn't wise. Buying this handy little pack for your camera gear however, is!
                Highly recommended!

Great for travel, but my 15" laptop was too big and poked out the corners of the bag. If you need to fit anything about the dimensions of paper or notebook go for the bigger II version

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

I have to carry everyday my photo stuff for shootings with the following equipment:
                      Nikon D200 DSLR
two Nikon flashes, SB-900 (quite large)
                      2 lenses
                      11'6" laptop
                      batteries
                      laser distance meter
                      plus some small accessories

These things just fit in the backpack. I can't put the camera with battery grip, but at least my stuff is less heavy.

The backpack seems good quality, it looks stylish BUT it doesnt look like a photo backpack. Which is very good, because bad guys maybe don't suppose that expensive photo stuff is there in it.
The only bad thing is the tripod carrier pocket. You can only put the tripod in it without tripod cover. And the tripod strap is not fixed to the backpack, so there is a chance that sooner or later you will lose that, unless you fix it to the backpack somehow.
It is very good to carry, my former Samsonite photo bag caused me back pain (which was not exactly backpack, rather a sidebag that i Could use as backpack too), and this one is very good for my back.
It has several small pockets where you can put little things.

I use this top quality camera/laptop backpack for taking landscape pictures while hiking and traveling. The size is great, it is made well but I would have liked some small pockets or zipper slots for lens filters, lens cleaners and the like. The backpack size is great for the camera body and a number of lenses and it has side compartments for water, a top compartment for snacks or a light jacket. The best feature is that the camera compartment opens with an easy access on the bottom without unzipping the whole bag.

Comments about Manfrotto Advanced Active Backpack I:

PROS: I use this backpack for travel/on-the-go photography. Having the camera stored at the bottom, completely separated from other personal items, allows for quick and easy retrieval/storage of my DSLR (Rebel T3i w/ 18-200mm). There are four other storage compartments which are more than enough for for my wallet, phone, ipad, and other items I carry (the smaller size also encourages me not to overpack). Importantly, this backpack does not feel heavy -the weight is very well balanced throughout the pack. CONS: My tripod (Manfrotto 293) seems to overwhelm the bag when in the side storage compartment. The bag cost $30 more in store than I could buy it online at [*]. But the flawless BH Photo experience is worth it. OVERALL: Highly recommend.
