This was a decision instead of the new Mac Pro. Very fast. Plays 4k without a problem.

Comments about Apple 27" iMac Desktop Computer (Late 2013):

I have owned many Dell PC's and two MBP's (2008 MPB and 2011 MPB). I always get the top end specs when I order an electronic device and this late 2013 iMac was no different. I was hesitant about spending the extra money on the 1TB SSD, however now that I have used it with this iMac I will NEVER GO BACK TO A REGULAR HD no matter the cost! Seriously, this iMac loads up in 16 seconds. I don't mean you see the screen in 16 seconds, I mean everything is loaded and ready to run in 16 seconds!!! My Parallels virtual machine running Windows 7 boots up in 1/2 that time and Microsoft Flight Simulator (full 2560 X 1280 resolution) plays perfectly in the virtual machine. I am still ecstatic after a month of use. I have only heard the internal fan rev up once during a long HandBreak video rendering, every other program (including games like Rage, Portal, etc.) run quite. You will not be disappointed with this completely solid state computer with the only moving part being the fan, which you don't even know is running. The only "con" is the price, but I'll have this computer for at least 5 years so if you divide out the cost it's not as expensive as you may initially think. Plus, the Apple 27" ISP display is GORGEOUS... It puts my $1800 27" NEC pro monitor that I had connected to my MBP to shame.

Comments about Apple 27" iMac Desktop Computer (Late 2013):

I use this product mainly for Video production and audio engineering. I have ProTools 11 and the adobe CC suite installed on this particular machine. Run's great and gets the job done. These are perfect all-in-one boxes to sit at a desk with a nice screen and get the job done.

Comments about Apple 27" iMac Desktop Computer (Late 2013):

The speed is awesome with the 1TB flash drive. I am glad I spent the money for this. This iMac is thinner than my old one and much lighter. Had to add an Apple Superdrive, however, in my opinion this is the only drawback.
