Comments about 128GB iPad mini with Retina Display (Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray):

My 64GB iPad 3 was getting tight for storage space, and knowing that I plan to move more of my photo processing to iPad over the coming year, I decided to upgrade to a 128GB model. After extensive side-by-side testing, I decided that the mini with Retina Display was large enough for my normal reading, photo, and productivity apps, while also being more portable and [$] cheaper than the iPad Air.I have had absolutely no regrets about the purchase - the mini handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat (including Adobe's new Lightroom Mobile), while being small enough to be my constant companion as I move about the house, and I barely notice it when I pack it in any of my camera bags. It's absolutely astonishing that this much performance, battery life, and display quality can be packed into a device this small and light.

Easy to use and great screen. I purchased it for the small size but was impressed with the quality and reliability. My I-Phone is great but this is a true computer in hand. Thank You for a great product and a fantastic seller. A+++ to B&H

Comments about 128GB iPad mini with Retina Display (Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray):

This iPad Mini with Retina Display on video mode has the stripped format of feature. I know the hardware is there on plug in ext. stereo mic to Garage Band, is fine. When I had purchased very good stereo microphone with waste of my money. After I had plugged in my ext. Stereo mic. Garage Band was good until I had opened up my Video, any ext. mic doesn't work. I have to use the built in MONO mic that I can't monitor my audio through my headphone. Apple had built this 1080p video camera for children, it's not for pro.

Comments about 128GB iPad mini 2 with Retina Display (Wi-Fi Only, Silver):

After owning an iPod Touch 4G and an iPad 2, I decided to upgrade to one iOS device, and the iPad Mini Retina was a great "merge" for me. UPGRADE FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS- 128GB (this model): More storage for apps, photos, music, videos, and video recording. For me this was a major reason.- iOS 7: My iPod Touch 4G didn't meet the system requirements for iOS 7 and I was starting to find apps at the store that required it. My only complaint is that I bought my iPod Touch in March 2011, and felt that 2.5 years was a little soon to be forced into an upgrade. However, the operating system itself has some helpful improvements, such as folders that expand to hold as many apps as you want. - Retina screen: Truly is amazing and beautifully crisp.- Siri voice recognition is very accurate and works well.- 5MP Camera allows for better photos and has enough resolution for banking apps that will handle check deposits.I looked at a bunch of cases and screen protectors and have a recommendation. If B&H has the following items, please buy the accessories from them.Apple iPad Mini with Retina Display (Apple iPad Mini 2) Screen ProtectorNEW 2014 Ultra Premium HD Versionby iSmooth - Free Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. Trust me, this kit was worth it! This screen protector had GREAT instructions and came with everything you need. I was dreading the whole thing, because I've done it once before and it's not easy to get screen protectors installed correctly without pesky dust particles getting trapped underneath. So, I wouldn't say it was easy, but this made it as easy as possible, and I did it. Just follow the instructions and do it in your bathroom. It comes with 2 protectors, so if you really mess up the first one, you have an extra. Run your shower on hot, just long enough to start fogging up the mirror and then turn it off. This really helps reduce airborne dust. I'm sure you'll do fine, but even if you mess up both protectors, they say that they'll send you a new one. Thankfully, I got it right on the first try, and the sticky strips are the key. Scotch tape will also work to remove dust trapped on the screen OR the underside of the screen protector.Snugg Apple iPad Mini & iPad Mini 2 Retina Leather CaseFlip Stand Cover with Elastic Hand Strap, Stylus Loop and Premium Nubu. The only "IF" about this case would be that it could offer a little better corner protection. However, overall, out of everything I looked at, I liked this case the best. If you need to use your iPad on a construction site, get something else, but for decent style, funtionality and protection, this was my favorite. It looks, smells and feels like real leather, but I find it hard to believe that it could be for the price. Bear Motion and Otterbox also make some nice cases.TECH SUPPORTI wish that tech support was available for more than 90 days without having to buy an AppleCare support plan, but when I had an iCloud restore question, "Justin" couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I can't properly compare the iPad Mini Retina (released Nov. 2013) to Google Nexus or Kindle Fire because I haven't used the other two. I did research them and feature wise I just didn't find what I was looking for as of December 2013. However, I like the Android OS and competition remains fierce between Apple, Google and Amazon. So, it will be interesting to see what develops in the future.
