Comments about Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount:

I gave this product 5 stars because, for the price, it is a sharp, relatively high quality lens. That being said, this may not be the best wide angle choice for MFT due to the 2X crop factor. I bought this lens because of its reputation for use as an astrophotography lens - sharpness, lack of coma, stars appear as points rather than smears, etc., and I found that much is true. However, because of the crop factor, this lens isn't all that wide (28mm)on MFT and not particularly suited to wide angle photography like astrophotography. SO... I exchanged this lens for another Rokinon 14mm in Sony E mount for use on my full-frame A7, and I have the Rokinon 10mm for MFT. Both of these lenses are LARGE, as they were designed for bigger sensors (FF and APS-C, respectively), but they are fine instruments - good construction, relatively sharp wide open, smooth focus, decisive aperture control. Full manual controls for those who don't realize that. There are lots of B&H reviews for this lens in other mounts, so don't miss them.
