          This is an update to my earlier review. I have used it now for about a month. I use it solely as a stylus for my Nook HD+. The stylus doesn't always register or engage with the item I am trying to select so I end up doing it multiple times. Sometimes it takes 6 or 7 tries. The device is battery powered so I thought it would be more sensitive to touch screens. But my experience is that it is not. I purchased this since the point is much smaller than most styluses are and I thought it would help me select small items more precisely. It does do that when the connection occurs but as I stated above the connection often takes multiple retries to work. Sometimes I give up and use my finger (which seems to always work by the way).

          I use this stylus on my Nook HD+. I chose to buy this stylus because its tip is much smaller than the tips of all the other styluses I have seen. I like it because with a smaller tip, I can select small links on the tablet's screen more precisely. The stylus is battery powered and while it does work it seems less sensitive than using my finger. Consequently I need to re-touch multiple times to get it to connect to the link. But it may just take getting used to. So time will tell.

            I purchased this to use with my GoodNotes app on my iPad 4th gen. It continually skips when I write unless I write painstakingly slow. Thinking it was the app, I tried it in two more handwriting apps with the same results. I even cleaned the surface of the iPad, and still the same results. I spend so much time going over and correcting/completing what I wrote, I get behind with my notes. I am returning it today.

            This thing makes an impossibly thin and accurate line on the iPad. I've been using it for handwritten notes in meetings and it's perfect.

            I had hoped to use it on my MS Surface RT in One Note, but it doesn't function correctly on the RT.

            Joy Factory customer service was quick to answer when I asked if there were any tips for use on the Surface. There aren't any, but I appreciated how fast they responded
