Comments about Century Precision Optics DS-FEWA-SB 3x Ultra Fish-eye Adapter:

This lens is the finest piece of equipment I own (besides mycamera). It preserves all of the quality of my camera, andit produces a beautiful image with no vig, which is a bigplus. This the perfect lens for filming skateboarding and isworth every penny.P.S. Don't wast your time modding an MKI, this lens is muchbetter.

Skateboarding

Comments about Century Precision Optics DS-FEWA-SB 3x Ultra Fish-eye Adapter:

Its a really nice lens i have mine and its 3 yrs old but i need to replace it now i have a scratch in it. But its a very nice lens. Now that they made a proto type ring for the MKI to fit the vx2k and 2100 everyone should be switching to the MKI but this lens gets it dont there is no vig on the lens but to make it a little more wider get the step up step down rings

Problems Encountered: Guard sometimes gets int he picture but that's nothing serious you can easily fix that but other then that nothing.

Items I Recommend: step up step down rings to make wider (72-82, 82-72, 72-58)

Great Lens

By Patric

from Chicago

Comments about Century Precision Optics DS-FEWA-SB 3x Ultra Fish-eye Adapter:

This Lens was exactly what i expected. I knew plenty of people with this lens and the vx2100 before me, and just like me they had no problems what so ever. I am confused to hear that any one had problems other than the gaurd in site if out of place. Any one could get a tiny screw driver and BAM! the problem is solved. I think this lens is fantastic and until century comes out with something better this is what I'm sticking with. Tip- the lens is great but not always needed.

Problems Encountered: Nothing at all. I have seen other peoples little screws strip out on the gaurd before so.... I'm trying to be careful.

Previous Equivalent Items Owned: the 37mm screw mount markll

Items I Recommend: a good adjusting light

Success With VX-2100

By kur

from Lake Forest

Comments about Century Precision Optics DS-FEWA-SB 3x Ultra Fish-eye Adapter:

I had read comments on other sites of people complainingabout this fitting on a VX-2100. I had no problem at all! You can even keep the lens guard off if your feeling lucky.Anyways, if you are looking for the WIDEST possible lens, the Mark I fisheye for the VX-1000 is your best bet. Don'tget me wrong, this will still WOW you but sometimes a fewmore degrees can be all the difference. Anything CenturyOptics does is to the best.

Problems Encountered: I had an issue with the lens guard in the shot but did asthe person before me described exactly, and no more problem.

Items I Recommend: Clearsight lens cleaner and Spudz!

Fitting the vx-2100

By Ezryman

from CB, Iowa

Comments about Century Precision Optics DS-FEWA-SB 3x Ultra Fish-eye Adapter:

A good way to make this fit the vx 2100 without the lens guard in the shot is to put the lens on your camera as tight as you can and carefully remove the small flathead screws. Rotate the guard while your camera is on and watch for it to get out of the shot, then simply replace screws and you're done.

Problems Encountered: Not correctly fitting the DCR vx-2100.
