I purchased this bag for my Bogen Pro Model 3221 Tripod with a Smith Victor Black Diamond BH8 Pro Ballhead. This bag is very well made, and sturdy. The padding is excellent, and will protect your gear very well. There also is a pocket on the inside, as well as one on the outside for carrying other items. Over all a great bag, and good investment. Money well spent.

I purchased this case to carry my Manfrotto 755/502 tripod/head combo. It fits the tripod very nicely with enough room to spare to comfortably carry a boom pole and, if I squeeze, a 24" camera slider (in its own padded case).

I've checked it on 2 flights and there are already at least 6 small rips that have appeared in the nylon exterior, which is disappointing. However, my tripod has arrived intact in all destinations so the bag is doing its job, for now.

If the primary goal is to keep your tripod from getting banged around inside a car or van it's a good buy. If you plan on using it for air travel, it will work but expect a shorter usable life for the bag.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I'm a professional for video on TV and YouTube. Great bag, heavy duty zippers, plenty of room. My Manfrotto bag that came with the tripod looked good but after about 6 months, it started falling apart and the zipper broke. This Hakuba bag has enough room to throw a shirt and pants in it and not have a carry on except my camera bag.

I'm using the tripod for a Manfrotto 055XPROB with a 502 Video Head MVH502AH and its' been working really well so far.

The previous bag I had completely broke down, and this is working pretty well right now.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I am using this for a Manfrotto 3001 tripod with three-way head. The tripod is heavy and bulky with this head so an inexpensive and competent bag was difficult to find. This bag is comfortable to carry and discreet in public, exactly what I was wanting. I use it when I ride the subway and didn't get in way of anyone.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I buy the case for my heavy Gitzo and the Custom Brackets gimbal head attached to it. My Gitzo is 25" long. So it is a perfect fit. I can also put in my Gitzo monopod and its head, and still have room for more stuff. It is very sturdy and comfortable to carry by hand or shoulder. Padding is more than enough. The outside packet is quite handy, measuring 9"+ by 7" but the depth is only about 1.5". Strongly recommended.

Perfect for Gotzo Mountaineer Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod with head. The diameter of the bag will easily fit the setup. Most others at this length are too narrow and bigger one are too long.

As a level III video student and also a video staff member for my school's athletics department which I capture all the home athletic games, I highly recommend this Hakuba tripod case. It's very affordable, well built and roomy. I can easily carry my 30" manfrotto tripod and tripod head, super clamp and bundled extension cord in the main cargo area. The outer side pocket fits my GoPro and SD card case, iPhone, etc.

I use this bag to carry lighting gear to assignment location. I use a 300 series bag to haul most of my lighting gear in my car to that location. The padded interior protects equipment and adds sturdiness to the bag. The central handle is perfect to balance gear while carrying. I seldom use the shoulder strap but keep it handy in the bag when needed to carry multiple bags of other gear. The internal and external pockets are a good size. The outside pocket is sturdy with zipper to accommodate small hardware.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

I use this tripod case precisely for carrying my tripod around on my shoulder. Overall, it is a comfortable carrying case. My 33" tripod perfectly fits lengthwise. What left me wanting is the width of the case. This case looks more round on pictures, but when you get it, it looks like half a guitar case. I purchased it before my recent air travel and was afraid that I might be asked to surrender the tripod into checked baggage due to size. All went well though, and I was able to take it on the plane as a personal item both ways. A flight attendant thought that I had a musical instrument in it. The case is a little too wide, unfortunately. It has a tapered, triangular shape, which purpose I still don't understand. The tripod has too much wiggle room inside, especially on the wider end. I prefer a more exact fit.

This case is way better than i expected it to be. Its nice to be surprised when you order something online based only on the description and size. I had heard others talk of Hakuba's reputation though so that helped.

This bag is well made, seems like it will stand up to any abuse I can give it. Zippers are top notch, the case is sized for the way a tripod is stored when folded being larger overall through the end where the head is, slimmer where the legs fold to meet at the other end. The fabric is heavy duty....just nothing to complain about here. Even has a useful shoulder strap.

It holds my Gitzo3542XLS with RRS BH-55 ballhead securely. The side pocket holds all the extra "stuff" like spikes, wrenches, etc.

Maybe a little big but lite.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Tripod Case:

Found that it is easier to carry my tripod hand held or hanging off my backpack in the field rather than in a case. But this is great for storage and traveling and having something to protect your tripod. Well made. Light. Has room for 2 tripods or other objects. Inside pockets. Good value.

2 mini C-stands fit into this case, awkwardly. But it seems sturdy enough - it's weathered several airlines pretty well so far.

I have two of these in separate sizes, great products. Holds a lot, compact stands and soft lighters. Great for compact location work.
