This filter is extremely easy to use and very effective.

After screwing the filter onto a lens just twist the rotating side until you either line up with the horizon or whatever side you're trying to darken. The graduated neutral density ND (0.6) gives one side of the circle smooth transition from light to dark. Darken your skies and lighten your subject with just a twist of the filter.

Sometimes the rotating side makes it difficult to unscrew the filter from a lens, but with a little patience and finesse it'll come off in no time.

Comments about Tiffen 82mm Graduated 0.6 ND Filter:

I used to use a knock-off to the Cokin filter system on my Nikon D600. Although I had tons of graduated filters (including colored grad filters), it was just a hassle to install the filter holder, then insert a filter, etc. This screw-on graduated ND filter goes on and comes off in 30 seconds, so it's a big improvement in how easy it is to use. Got some great shots of the Hawaiian sunsets with it.Only downside is if you choose to stack a circular polarizer and this graduated ND filter, then my lens (a Tamron SP 24-70mm f2.8) sees vignetting in the four corners of the frame. But, this isn't really the due to this filter, just the field of view on my lens, so I can't fault this filter for this problem.

Comments about Tiffen 82mm Graduated 0.6 ND Filter:

This filter is extremely easy to use and very effective.

After screwing the filter onto a lens just twist the rotating side until you either line up with the horizon or whatever side you're trying to darken. The graduated neutral density ND (0.6) gives one side of the circle smooth transition from light to dark. Darken your skies and lighten your subject with just a twist of the filter.

Sometimes the rotating side makes it difficult to unscrew the filter from a lens, but with a little patience and finesse it'll come off in no time.
