Comments about Manfrotto 190XDB 3-Section Tripod (Black) with 501HDV Head:

I use this for shooting films using Canon 7D & T2i using lenses from 14mm 2.8L to 70-200mm 2.8L. Solid for this application. Fluid head works well with these cameras. When panning, you may get a bit of wobble, but there are hooks on the center column for a reason - I attach a weighted bag or some sort of heavy object using zipties or a metal hook. After that, works like a champ. Setup is a bit heavy, but that's because its not carbon fiber.

Comments about Manfrotto 190XDB 3-Section Tripod (Black) with 501HDV Head:

B&H is probably the best store for photo/video in the US, but this kit is absolutely hopeless/useless. It's a shame they ever put it together. The legs make hand holding feel rock solid. The head is OK, but it's too big to be supported but the legs. They vibrate and wobble even if you mount a point and shoot digital. In short, a bad combo not worth buying. Better hand hold your camera.

Comments about Manfrotto 190XDB 3-Section Tripod (Black) with 501HDV Head:

You really can't beat this price with the head and legs combined, but I agree with the previous poster that the tripod is a tad top heavy. I correct this by attaching a carabiner to the center column then hanging a backpack or other heavy item from it.

By far what makes this a smart tripod is the ability to get low... very low. Nice way to put these two together B&H!

Comments about Manfrotto 190XDB 3-Section Tripod (Black) with 501HDV Head:

      Uses: Church media, studio/outdoors

B/M has proven itself again, great tripod with a smooth head. I got a remote with it and its a nice piece of equipment.
My only complaint is that the legs lack a little stability. Since the legs are so light, the tripod is very top heavy, but its a small flaw in a great product.

Comments about Manfrotto 190XDB 3-Section Tripod (Black) with 501HDV Head:

I use this Tripod system for my HV30/wide lens/Rode Stereo Mic setup. The head is great, no complaints at all. I finally have the control I want with panning/tilt. I think you get allot more, than what your paying for!! I only found this tripod because of a bad review from another tripod system I was looking at. [...] exactly what I ordered. Thanks
