This is a much lighter, and easier to carry, alternative to the Lowepro Vertex 200, which I also own, and much, much easier to carry all day than a fully loaded shoulder bag. A Nikon D200 with an 80-400 plus three or four other lenses, or a set of Lee filters and holder plus 2 other lenses will fit in this bag. Been on two hikes with this bag fully loaded and the bag was very comfortable. Seems small enough to easily pass all the most restrictive airline regulations that I've read about. Doesn't scream "camera bag" either.
Cons: Front pocket could be bigger, no pull-out plastic rain cover, not much else to complain about.

I am happy with my product but....

The product is ok... the zip is bended and the zip doesn't go through smoothly... I am afraid it will break soon. Besides, the inside is very cute.

Comments about 5375 Adventure 75 Backpack (Rust):

I bought this backpack to replace an Amazon "basic" camera backpack that served me well for two years. I decided on this bag because it has a sturdy tripod carrier (this was an important consideration), it has more than enough room, and other reviews were favorable. Since using it only a few times (maybe the snow will melt here some day) I've found a several things that I like, and a couple that are annoying.

I like the amount of room in the bag, and that it's very configurable. I carry a camera body with short lens, 3 other lenses and a variety of accessories. As mentioned, the tripod carrier was important to me, and it works great. The backpack is comfortable, and the waist strap actually fits (I'm a "plus sized" guy). The bag is well constructed of heavy grade material.

Now the gripes: right now, the shoulder straps are a little stiff, but I'm sure that will go away once it's broken in. I like the protection the rain lip around the main compartment zipper offers, but I wish there was a way to fold it out of the way completely when it's not raining - it interferes with the zipper action, making the bag more difficult to open than it should be. I wish Tamrac would make a cell phone case for their SAS system. It would be handy to have it right on the strap as I use it as a GPS when hiking.

Overall a great backpack for the money that I think will suit my needs perfectly.

Note: if you're a photographer that carries a tripod and needs quick access to the inside of the pack, this might not be the item for you. You have to undo 3 straps and then pull the tripod out of the pouch to remove it, then open the pack. This can take a little time.

Comments about 5375 Adventure 75 Backpack (Rust):

This bag gives me everything I need. I'm a hiker and this bag is always loaded very heavily with camera equipment. The back support from this bag is excellent. I can hike for hours and hours and barely know it's on my back. It fits my 300mm on camera body perfectly. That was the main reason for upgrading my previous bag.

            Comments about 5375 Adventure 75 Backpack (Gray/Black):

I was looking for a backpack to use when traveling. It needed to be big enough to hold my "essential" equipment and small enough to "carry on" for airline travel. This one does that well. I carry a Nikon D600, Nikon 300 F4, Nikon 24-85, Nikon 50 1.8, Nikon 35 2.8, Nikon 70-300 VR, Tamron 90 2.8, 1.4x Teleconverter and memory cards, chargers, Vertical grip, card reader ,cables, and split neutral density kit.

The backpack is as exactly described. The quality of construction is great. The price is obviously a reflection of the bag being strictly a photo tool, which means higher prices. I use the bag mainly for storage and the ability to carry my entire kit, which would be rarely, but possible if I ever need to. I carry a 5D w/grip, 70-200, 17-40, and 24-105, a flash gun, and ancillary equipment like filters, etc. I would have bought a 76 if they made a 76. If you want/need more room then the expedition series might be best. I also wanted something that would be airline friendly as a carry on, and the 75 will definitely fit in the overhead. I would have preferred a better waist band strap/assembly though. The waist strap is literally just a strap not serving much use and so all the weight of the bag and gear will be on your shoulders. A padded waist strap/support would have been nicer for the price of the bag. But do not get me wrong, I am glad I purchased this item and would do it again for what I want it for.

Perfect camera backpack. I've tried many in this price bracket and this one is the best. Others were too tight with not enough room, or too expensive. This bag is absolutely perfect with plenty of room and is built very well all at a reasonable price. What more could I ask for!

I carry a Nikon d700, a long lens, a flash, a gary fong, and batteries, cards, reflectors, etc. My old Tamrac bag was just not quite big enough. So I tried some bigger backpacks. But they stuck too far out. This bag is enough bigger to hold everything but is still very manageable.

This bag has plenty of compartments in the main section. The pockets inside and out on the lid are numerous. I don't usually carry a tripod, but you easily could.

This pack is designed to hold a lot of gear. It is just too wide, deep and stiff for me. I carry the basics; camera body, 3 lenses, flash, and accessories. This bag is very "boxy" and seems to advertise the fact that there is some expensive camera gear inside. Quality of workmanship seems just fine. I doubt the pack would fit under an airline seat as a carry on.

I like this bag, It fits my D90 + Grip & 50mm 1.8G attached since I used the 50mm more often than the other lens, I also have a 2 medium lens and a 70-300mm zoom lens, with flash and some accessories in the bag, the 70-300 won't fit standing, it has to lay down, has also more room for 2 more medium lenses or another zoom lens or an extra DSLR body. for me the accessories pocket are too small since I have a lot of accessories, but if you're just carrying a chargers and batteries then it should be fine. What's in the bag list:D90+Battery Grip and 50mm 1.8G (Since I use this lens a lot compare to rest)17-50mm90mm70-300mmSB FlashSanyo Eneloop Batteries and ChargerSDHC memory CaseChargersPoint & Shoot CoolpixI tought this bag would be bigger since it looks big on the picture but no, it's almost same size like the $40 canon deluxe backpack, it's about 11-13 inches wide and 15 inches in height. but this tamrac has better built quality. Yes I used to have a canon deluxe backpack but I got rid of it since I also switched to nikon.

This pack is perfect if like a pair of shoes, it fits you. If you want to store your pro 70-200 (with shoe) on your camera, no problem. an extra 24-70 pro, no problem. An extra smaller prime will also fit in. A flash and a few smaller accessories can be wedged in also. (all nicely protected) More storage in inside zippered pockets and a generous zippered flattish storage area on the outside. (I Pad yes laptop no). Infinitely adjustable padded straps to smooth out the burden. No rain cover, but I think they are limited anyway because they don't cover the whole bag. I carry a folded plastic bag inside to insure total protection. You need to remove the pack for access, but I shoulder my camera & lens on sight anyway. If this is the way you work/travel look no further.

overall well constructed backpack, but needs more pockets to handle gear. I added a side pocket and photo card wallet to get it set up right. This works well, but added another $65 to the cost. Just enough room for two camera bodies and three lenses +flash. Overall comfortable to use even with a heavy load.

Can't go wrong with a Tamrac, this little bad boy is great for holding 4 lenses including an attached 70-200mm. Wish they had at least one more compartment to throw misc. items in.
One improvement is instead of having the tripod attachment in the front of the bag (you have to remove the tripod every time you want to access the main storage), have it as a side attachment.
Overall great bag, simple and easy to use.
