When I needed to replace the lost ear buds for my Ipod Nano these ear buds by Sony got a lot of recommendations. I like using ear buds since they're compact, and don't block out ambient sounds. These deliver crystal clear sound and are very efficient. My only cons are that the bass response seems less satisfying than the original Apple ear buds. You might find the cord short if you are tall, and your player is in a pants pocket.

I bought these for use with my Sansa Fuze mp3 player. I found them to have very poor sound. The treble is very high and they have poor bass. They are cheap and maybe would work for some applications, but I would not use if for a lot of listening to music.

Comments about MDR-E828LP Fontopia Stereo Earbuds (Silver):

These earbuds have great sound in all ranges and excel at upper range. I listen to a lot of acoustic music and these make it sound natural rather than digital. I would recomend them to anyone who wants natural sound.

Good fit in my ears, very good sound, and much better durabiity than other buds I have used. Price is right here when purchased in multiples to amortize the shipping cost.

Perfect earphones for the gym; also excellent sound quality, and very comfortable. I highly recommend.
Only downside is they seem to break easy.

Comments about MDR-E828LP Fontopia Stereo Earbuds (Silver):

The audio quality is decent - better than expected for a pair of [$] headphones. Bass is there, and the treble/mids are clear. The build quality is excellent, and I expect them to hold up quite well at the gym. The cable is relatively thick and the elbow connection alleviates stress on the connector. I use them regularly without the optional foam covers, at the gym. I have not had any problems with them falling out of my ears, they are similar to the Apple headphones.

Comments about MDR-E828LP Fontopia Stereo Earbuds (Silver):

These are no Ultimate Ears, or Shure's...but then again they cost under $10 a pair. They come with an included windup storage case (a nice little feature) I use them for watching my portable DVD player. I have owned this same model headphone for years. They don't seem last more than a few years; but hey, they only cost ten bux. If they break, I just buy a new pair. I would recommend them for anyone wanting an inexpensive excellent and very comfortable pair of earbuds. They work great with most portable devices... Mp3, players, laptops,…Etc.

Very comfortable. Does not fall out of ear. Sound is very clear.

Only drawback is the static that comes on when passing some electrical overhead wires while traveling.
