A little about me, I am a wildlife, street, and sport photographer, I am VERY demanding on my bag, I picked this up for a light sport running bag, something I could use as I run and gun, I did not know this would become my go to bag, I have used this is world travel, all over, in deserts, rainforests, Snow at 5F, or -15C, with wind chill in the -20F range, used it in Super strong downpours, in swamps, use it for normal plane travel as my carry on, most of the time I have it very overloaded, and it still holds up, the zippers are very tough, never break, I was shocked how well this bag has held up, and it has protected my camera and lenses perfectly, as for space, I feel it is all about how to set it up, I use the bottom only for my lenses and maybe a flash, normal I hold 3 to 4 lenses in the bottom, I keep one of my cameras in the upper area, holds my 1D, 5D, or 7D very well, and in the back area hold a laptop very safe and well. holds my cords, hoods, mic. filters, first aid kit, paperwork f0r model releases, 4 back up batteries, and 2 charges, and the little front pocket stays water proof also, and hold 30 flash cards easy, and I fit much more into it, and when having to wear the bag fully loaded all day long, I can not think of anything that would feel better then this bag, most packs are killing you after an hour, as for one person saying they wanted it to have 2 zippers on the big front part, I know why it does not, if it had that people would leave then both on the top, and then it would not be as water safe and tight, this is a good thing, as for pick pockets, I have been in markets in Asia that have the best pick pockets in the world, and they did not get into my bag, and it is thick sided, so they can not cut it too, GREAT bag, I now own 6 of them, and I am buying a new one right now, every photographer I have shown this to got one and LOVE them like me, if I need a bag to get me into a war zone, in very harsh environments, with many extremes, this is the bag, Hands down, now as for cons, I only have one, the ONLY thing I would like to see changed on this bag is the back liner pad being removable for washing, as when your in a rainforest and sweating a lot, the back part gets soaked in your sweat, and is hard to wash well on the bag, so it can start to smell after a few years of use LOL, that is the only thing I would have Lowepro change on this bag, I LOVE the feel of the back pad, just wish it was removable for cleaning, as for new people to buy this bag, this bag will last you longer then any other, I got my first in 2006, here in 2014, I still have it, and it is still in great shape, and I used the hell out of it, and I bet I will get 10 more years out of it, one tough bag. 5 full starts from me.

Most packs give a bit more room for the size computer they sell to. This pack could not even come close to a 17" computer and a 17.3" was hanging out the top. The camera storage is minimal at best. It was not deep enough to accommodate my d7000 with the 24-120 lens. Even if it was deep enough, there was no room for my wide angle and flash with a few accessories.

Nicely constructed and the right idea but not big enough to do anything with.

    Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

I use this CompuDaypack to carry my camera and computer as well as a number of other Items. I have had one for eight years in which I totaly abused the pack on a daily basis. My old pack which is still usable had a zipper start to pull out. The punnishment I gave the zippers its a wonder they lasted more than a month, this is testiment of the quality of this pack.

    Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

I love this backpack! It has good camera pocket at the bottom with plenty of room for my camera and also future lenses. The main pocket is just the right size to hold everything and the zipper pocket is good for loose objects. The laptop pocket is great for taking your laptop with and it is has a good amount of padding. The backpack itself is pretty comfortable to carry and altogether exactly what I was looking for.

    Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

Liked the price and the fact that the backpack part that is in contact with your back is firm and has some padding, and this makes it very comfortable using it.

Storage for photo gear is good, I have a Nikon D3200 with a 55mm lens and a 200mm and they fit really well at the bottom. Additional space is provided in the compartment above.

The price I paid was really good ($60 off) and on the down side, the backpack is a little on the heavy side, but it's comfortable to carry it around.

        Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

It holds the laptop nicely but that's is pretty much all. The camera / lens is very limited space - way too small, you could get a backpack half the size and still be able to fit more lens / cameras.... Not good unless you have 2 small lens and one body. The other space is usless - yes it's large but you pretty much end up tossing everything in as a mess.... Not a good camera bag.

Like many photographers, I have many camera bags - sling, shoulder, and hiker's. But I need one more for office that I can put in my thick laptop (company's) and accessories, and my go-to camera setup - Canon 6D + 24-105/f4.

The pack serves well for this purpose, the only thing I don't get is the side pockets, I thought they are for water bottles but they are way too small.

This backpack will serve as a storage backpack for me as well as a hiking backpack. I bought this alongside the Kata Digital Rucksack 467-DL, which I will use for everyday transportation. The clean feel of this backpack is great and the space it advertises is no lie! I can fit most of my lenses (4 + 1 on the DSLR Body), a 10-24 Tamron, 18-50 2.8 Tamron, Nikon 50mm 1.8D, Nikon 55-300mm, and Nikon 40mm 2.8 Macro. The laptop compartment is well padded and I can appreciate that because my backpack tends to be bumped around a lot, even at home! The only thing is the pocket that holds all the lenses and the camera body pops out a little, which could be dangerous. But the backpack overall is great!

As an airline pilot, I needed a way to bring my camera gear on my trips without having too many bags to cary. This backpack allows me to combine my camera bag and laptop bag into one. This backpack gets used very hard. It goes in and out of airplanes all day long and fits perfectly in the overhead compartment for the flight home. There is just enough room for my 15 inch laptop a 35mm DSLR with three lenses and all the power cords cables and chargers. There is also tonnes of padding to protect your gear. As much as this bag gets moved around, I have never been concerned about damaging anything. This backpack is not designed for use as a slingbag or for quick access to the camera. You can't access your camera while wearing it.Its best use is for compact transportation for your gear. I've not used it as a backpack much. It spends most of the time on top of a rollerboard being pulled through an airport. The only a addition I would make would be a chest strap. It would help keep it attached to the rollerboard.

I struggled to find a good bag that could hold my camera, two lenses, a notebook/iPad, and this is the biggie for me, my travel CPAP machine. Then I found this little beauty. It holds everything I need to carryon the plane. And my CPAP and tubing and sleep mask fit perfectly into the top compartment. I don't ever want to check my camera, my computer or my CPAP as it is a medical device. This bag holds all three with room for extras, like batteries, filters, all of my cords and charges and my travel documents. I have now traveled three times with this bag and I love it. Only complaint is I wish it had a tripod holder. Then I would give it a perfect 5 star rating.

Has enough room to store and carry all my equipment. Has very good padding and protects all the equipment I am transporting. I would reccomend this product to other camera buffs.

Easily packed with many electronics including large laptop and much camera equipment. If you're like me and generally bring a lot of electronics with you on flights, having this bag packed full of them is an easy way to quickly make your way through security without having to unload all your other items and to safely carry your electronics in a "personal item".

                            Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

I bought this bag so that I could use it for both photography and day-to-day use. I've found it to be virtually perfect, but with a few problems.

On the plus side, it's rugged (like most things made by Lowepro), and extremely comfortable. I love the design of the shoulder straps/handle, and how it's all 'one piece.' There's just enough room for a DSLR with lens attached, plus another lens, in the bottom compartment, a laptop/book/iPad in the back, and assorted stuff in the top/front part. Also, I like the shape of the backpack. When you set it down, you never have to worry about it tipping over, because it widens towards the bottom.

Negatives include lack of 'feet' on the bottom; only one zipper on top/front part; and just enough space in bottom for camera...depending on your camera/lens setup, you may find it lacking. Also, it would be nice to have a little more weather sealing. In a heavy rain, I'd be concerned about water getting through.

                            Altogether, a pretty amazing backpack!

                            Comments about Lowepro CompuDaypack:

I use the CompuDaypack almost everyday busing or biking to the university. It holds my laptop, papers, pens, notebook, a small rangefinder outfit and my (empty) steel coffee mug in one of the camera compartments. I have also taken it to Europe last year with a 50-year old twin lens camera next to the rangefinder outit.
I used the first green one for 3 years when the zipper on the top accessories compartment gave out. Contacted Lowepro about it and submitted photos of the damage and they replaced it for free with the current gray one. Nice warranty & communication!
Things I would like to see improved on this pack: stronger two-way zipper on the accessories compartment; 4 D-rings sewed into the rear corners of the pack so one can attach a tripod or a hip belt; water bottle net on one side; rubberized bottom and little spacer feet so you can set the pack into wet grass or dirt (why do only European camera bags have this?).
