I'm going to be judging this based purely on it's basic functionality and comfort. I have not tried the macros or anything; I bought it specifically for the looks and the colored lighting.

The lighting in particular is very customizable. You can very subtly adjust the hue, anywhere from blue to red, allowing for purple, magenta, etc. Each of the 3 presets allows for a different color, which is nice, depending on your mood or the game you're playing. The lighting isn't perfect though, on certain keys they are more illuminated than others, but this is hardly noticeable.

It's extremely comfortable while typing, with or without the palm rest. The keys themselves feel great and have allow for slipless typing/movements. What I'm most pleased with is that every single key on the keyboard works as intended. The volume wheel, the toggles, switches, and media buttons all respond quickly and accurately.

One complaint is that you have to press the keys harder than I'm used to. It makes typing a little more tiresome than I feel it should be, as silly as that sounds. Another is that the keyboard's design doesn't make it immediately discernible where your hand placement is without looking. I often find myself pressing the macro keys when I meant to press ctrl, though this could be a personal problem.

The "gaming mode" works great. Flip the switch, windows key is disabled, simple but nice. There is also an audio and mic input, both of which work great. The audio input works better than the one on my PC which, for some reason, gets noise. Plugging in my Pioneer HDJ-1000 headphones through these gets not interference and has no noticeable loss in quality for me.

Overall, for the price, it gives me exactly what I wanted: comfort, looks, functionality. If the macro keys had different textures or were further away from the ctrl key I would definitely be happier though.

I bought this keyboard because I do a lot of computer work in a poorly lit room. The unit is pre-programmed with a set of gaming configurations, but since I don't really do much gaming, I'm not sure how useful they are, but the programmable macro keys may come in handy.I like the feel of the keys. They require a firm touch. I prefer this to the mushy feel of many of today's keyboards.Back-lighting is not great in my opinion. The characters need to be slightly bigger for those of us with less than 20/20 vision (why didn't Logitech make all characters the same size as the macro key characters, which are normal sized). The brightness isn't adjustable, and is a little on the dim side.My biggest gripe about the unit, and the reason it only got three stars, is because the LED lighting on many of the keys, especially the ones on the number pad, seems to be cut off (top half of keys not lit properly). I checked the Logitech forums, and other people also have the same issue with this unit. I'm guessing that it's a quality control problem [...]

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

I'm a gamer and a web designer, so I'm often at my computer late at night. This means the light-up keys are a huge plus. However the color of the keys can only be certain shades of blue, red, or purple.

As a gamer, the programmable G keys are great, as well as the switch that disables the Windows key (just in case I accidentally hit it in-game).

Also, being able to adjust my volume, play/pause/etc my music and mute my headset all from the keyboard is great too.

Overall, a great keyboard. It's not as fancy as some of the more expensive keyboards, but it's great for the price. It feels great to type on, plus everything else I mentioned above.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

I will admit I have been a fan of Logitech products (with some misdirected exceptions) for some years. This keyboard is no exception to what I would demand. I have had no trouble in navigating the standard keyboard layout with the exception of the Command Key being too close to the "G" keys. I expect I will become accustomed to these; in the meantime I have disabled the lower two programmable keys to avoid interference.

The action of the keyboard works perfectly for me; it is not overly sensitive, and you know when you've hit a key with a nice springing action while remaining very quiet. The space bar is the exception being smallish and sticky. The height adjustment is minimal and low for my comfort.

The G-key Profiler is simple to use for programming and adjusting colour preferences. The short-cut rests in your tray for easy access and and modification. The colour adjust and three separate modes make it easy for recognition depending on your immediate task. Generally I set one for basic functions, one for Graphics/Multi-media (many of the controls are universal between my apps), and one for my gaming (intermediate gamer).

The backlight goes out when in sleep mode which is great, but is slow on waking or rebooting. Few problems - lots of benefits. I will probably buy another. I would recommend this board for high end use, but I cannot comment greatly on its gaming functionaality.

I do wish in this particular case I had purchased an extended warranty.

I mainly play WoW and other Steam games, and this keyboard keeps turning off on me. The lights go out and one key gets registered on the computer. For example, my keyboard went out and my character kept moving backwards by itself. I looked around and I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

Good solid keyboard, obviously not cheap. Customizing colors and layout is easy and simple. If I could change anything, it would be the location of the game program "G" keys. They're a little close to the main keyboard and will take some adjusting to get used to their location. Since I've been used to a standard keyboard, I'm constantly hitting the "G" keys. Keyboard was instantly recognized by XP O/S and installed drivers without having to use the install CD so that was a breeze. It could be a little cheaper, but I still feel it's worth what I paid for it.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

          Pros:
+Lovely Feel (Soft and quiet, but provides a nice feedback)
          +Looks Incredibly Nice
+Full QWERTY (more on this later)
+Plenty of Macro Keys(I'm not a Hardcore gamer, so I really have no use for these; I bought mainly for looks)
          +Keys can change color
          +Has a wrist Rest

          Cons
          -Can't change color to white
-Some of the lighting doesn't show well when viewing the keyboard from an angle
-The keyboard height adjuster could be a bit higher (personal preference)

          Other Notes:
Overall an excellent keyboards, with some minute issues that only picky people like me would have. Some reviewers say (especially on Amazon) that the keys are small and consistently make mistakes typing. I don't know what these guys are smoking, seriously! I measured the keys (1/2" per key and 11" vertical for the standard QWERTY keyboard) and they fall exactly into the standard. In fact, I typed up this review using this exact keyboard and haven't made a mistake due to key placement. Maybe people are using extra large sized keyboards these days, I don't know.

The lighting DOES have some issues, though, as when you view the keyboard from an angle, some keys look half lit. The brightness isn't adjustable, but I feel that these are lighted just enough (I definitely don't want to be blinded when I look onto my keyboard). The size of the letters seem fine to me...Unless you should be wearing glasses/contacts and you aren't, you should see them just fine.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this keyboard and would buy it again.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

Good value for casual gamers who want illuminated keys, but don't need the extra display. Keyboard action is smooth and quiet, much quieter than my old Logitech Access Keyboard. Media controls are also very convenient, especially the volume control, which instead of +/- keys, is a cool little roller. It also has a feature for the illuminated keys that allows you to choose any color between red and blue.

Minor complaint lies in the left-SHIFT key. On a few occasions, it hasn't activated properly when hit gently on the far right side of the key. It requires a slightly more deliberate push than I'm used to, or a repositioning of my pinky finger closer to the center of the key. All other keys have worked perfectly, even when typing at speed.

Headphone and mic jacks are very convenient for lower quality headsets or those with short cables, but connect elsewhere for your hi-fi needs. Also, the USB port will not work with any device that has a significant power draw, so keep this in mind.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

I like the keyboard. The labels are a bit small, but I'm a touch typer. No problem there. The layout takes some getting used to. Personally, I'm not used to the smaller enter key. Also, I'm used to grabbing the escape key at the top/left. With the extra macro keys there I have to look for the esc key instead of just reaching for the top/left. For now, I programmed the top/left macro key to be escape. Problem averted.

I appreciate the feel of the keys. Positive feel, yet not loud. I know when a key is pressed.

Same price as elsewhere, but with the rebate here it was a great deal.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

I am using it on my iMac to replace the keyboard that iMac comes with and I am really liking this G110 keyboard. The keys just feel a lot more solid and more like a standard keyboard when compared to Apple's bluetooth keyboard, which is very thin. I also like the fact that the keys are backlit and that the light can be turned on an off.

Comments about Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard:

This board was a complete disappointment. I looked at the reviews, and I researched it diligently, but when I got it connected and started to use it, it was very annoying. The letters were, very, very tiny, the spacing of the keys was not functional, I kept hitting other keys that I didn't want, keys on the bottom row were higher than the others, especially the windows key. Also too close and packed, no room for error. Maybe for people with small fingers, not for me. The action of the keys was ok, the lighting was ok, the extra keys were just useless. It was difficult to program, and frustrating.

I switched to this keyboard from 3 horrible razer lycosas. The lycosas allways stopped working in the middle of my gaming and the usb slots were never functional. The g110 works perfectly I'm extremely pleased with this keyboard and I'm sure you will be too
