Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0180T 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:

Excellent tripod. Very light. It is my first tripod and the only thing I learned is that there is a lot of leg extensions. Probably would look for one that I do not have to screw the legs so much.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0180T 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:

A very lightweight and compact tripod, great for travelling. It fits into my backpack, and I barely notice it. Quick to set up. I use it with a Benro B1 ballhead, and together they easily hold a D800 + 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. But I wouldn't recommend it for heavier lenses than this though.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0180T 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:

The extreme low weight of this tripod will have you taking it to places where you used to wish you'd had a tripod. It is by far the lowest weight tripod you can find without going to a tabletop or pocket model.

I got this for camcorder and camera use. For DSLR or other digicam this is a fantastic unit that has plenty of rigidity and is easy to set up. With a light camcorder and a Manfrotto 700RC2 it has a slight amount of "panning backlash" when fully extended, but almost none if you close down the shortest legs.

A level on the tripod always helps: this one doesn't have a level but has 2 excellent flat spots for a stick-on bulls-eye level.

The leg angle when spread seems about average, but such a lightweight tripod would benefit from an option to spread the legs further. Hanging some weight will help for situations where you want the tripod to stay put for long scenes. As it is, you will tend to stay pretty much glued to your station while using your expensive camera on the tripod, as someone bumping into it may knock it over.
