Comments about Petrol PC206 Deca Mini Camporter:

This is a good-sized case that has the dimensions to handle a decent-sized pro camera with mic mount. It has a full-length repositionable center divider and three smaller dividers, all with rock-solid velcro, plus it has a basic belt for your camera. There are no internal zipper pockets, but there is a full-length external pocket on each side.
For my needs, this case can hold everything, including a heavy extension cord, shotgun and tripod arm with attached remote plus assorted gest.
Along one side I have the body, a divider, and a pair of stiff padded 5.5 x 7.5 x 9 gadget bags. I have the other side dived between a power cords on one end and tripod arm/remote and shotgun in the other, with the third divider serving as a half-cover on one end to restrict vertical movement.
It has a pair of 1 5/8 nylon carrying straps joined by a good snap-together moulded handle. The full-length lid has a pair of zipper pulls attached to a padded synthetic rubber grip with a velcro flap at the other end to protect the pulls from snagging.
There is an optional external dolly attachment available, which would come in handy for a heavy, high-end pro camera.
Again, this is a solid, well-made semi-rigid padded case with a few nice touches but with limited pockets. If you get this case I suggest you get one or more gadget bags to handle chargers, small cables, memory cards and other small gear.

Besides the great workmanship of this bag, the zippers work flawlessly. Nothing is more annoying than zippers that jam and these don't. Seems like a lot of money until you own one. Then you understand why. I'm buying another Petrol bag for my mics, portable mixer and lights.

Comments about Petrol PC206 Deca Mini Camporter:

I bought this bag to house my Sony FS100 with viewfinder tube, lens and top handle attached. The camera fits perfectly and there's room in the extra compartments (made of removable dividers) for battery charger, batteries, lens cleaner, etc.

This is the second Petrol bag I've had, the other one being for an XH A1, purchased at the end of 2006. The new bags are better looking than the old ones and equally well built. It has a hard bottom and stiff sides for added protection, and feet on the bottom to keep it up off wet pavement.

Even though the bag houses everything I need to put in it, it is still compact. I'm planning on buying another one, the next size down, for all my lenses, meters, etc.

Best bag ever! I can fit all the stuff I need and then some. Very sturdy, stylish and weatherproof. I used in any weather, including snow storms and hurricanes. I was always allowed to carry it on any plane (but the smallest regional ones with tiny overhead bins), in combination with Petrol's PA1001 trolley is unbeatable.

Comments about Petrol PC206 Deca Mini Camporter:

Purchased several of these for our school video production department. I was having trouble finding a bag large enough to hold our new Sony HXR-MC2000u camcorders without breaking the bank, but these bags were a great find. Good protection for transporting the camera with room enough for extra accessories. I wish they did not exceed the airline carry-on size limit, but that's the camcorder's fault--not the bag. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this product.

Comments about Petrol PC206 Deca Mini Camporter:

We purchased this Deca Mini Camporter to keep our company's Sony HXR-MC2000U Shoulder Mount AVCHD Camcorder safe and secure. It fit the camera perfect along with a wireless microphone system, external light, and some other accessories. I would recommend this bag to anyone with the same or similar size camcorder. Best, Patrick
