Absolutely no issues with this piece of great. Does exactly what it should and does it so smooth. Built like a tank! The included Manfrotto 502hd head makes it very easy to get those pro tracking shots.

Comments about Cinevate Inc 35" Atlas 10 LTS DSLR Slider For Tracking/Crane/Pulley Shots:

excellent little slider for events, weddings, and the run and gun videographer. super smooth with adgustable tension.
two notes however, it does not come with a head to mount your camera on, make sure you buy one or you have a spare.
also make sure the head on your tripod is heavy duty, my manfrotto fluid tripod head came loose several times from the weight of the slider and camera.

Comments about Cinevate Inc 35" Atlas 10 LTS DSLR Slider For Tracking/Crane/Pulley Shots:

This is a great little device. I've used it with a DSLR but I imagine it could easily support a small video camera as well.

One small issue - when making a very slow move, you may notice some subtle camera shake. It's best to pull the camera across the rail by attaching a line to the base of the camera. We managed to rig this so it eliminates any unwanted camera movement. The pulley system they offer may also solve this problem.

Comments about Cinevate Inc 35" Atlas 10 LTS DSLR Slider For Tracking/Crane/Pulley Shots:

I went ahead with this product because of Cinevate's quality reputation and good customer service. I have to say I'm disappointed. The slider is decent, but it is very heavy and a bit expensive. After just a few months of use, the feet started to bent so now it is uneven - and I've only used it with a small DSLR the entire time. So I contacted Cinevate about it and I'm astonished just how poor their customer service is. They honestly don't care. I've been lied to and ignored for months. Not buying ANY Cinevate products again!
