Comments about Bower 2x DGII Teleconverter with 7 Elements for Canon EF:

Tried the converter on my Canon 60D with my 70-300 lens. Wanted to use it for sports shots of my son's baseball teams. Images were to soft and it wouldn't focus quick enough.

Comments about Bower 2x DGII Teleconverter with 7 Elements for Canon EF:

I recently owned this product, need to explore more....

I use Bower 2X Teleconverter with 50mm f/1.4 USM Autofocus Lens.

      I got a 100mm lens for cheap.

Please note: 50mm lens becomes 100mm however 1.4F becomes 2.8 when 2X Teleconverter is fixed.

I had noticed dark images shooting indoors with this 2X teleconverter - may produce better results if an external flash gun is used or for Outdoor shooting!

I also experienced troubles / huge lag in Autofocus - using this teleconverter with EF 70-300mm 4-5.6 IS USM lens - indoor.

Comments about Bower 2x DGII Teleconverter with 7 Elements for Canon EF:

I shoot surfing and so many surf breaks are way out away from shore. It would be a waste to even shoot at all without this 2X Teleconverter. I'm pleased with the resulting images and cannot detect any breakdown in image quality. Good product.

Comments about Bower 2x DGII Teleconverter with 7 Elements for Canon EF:

I use this teleconverter with a canon 75-300mm
I like it! notice the aberration when at 300mm.
I don't seem to notice the Chromatic aberration, when not in use with the 75-300mm lens.
worst when taking pictures of the moon.

Handy to have, just don't expect to be as good as the canon X2 teleconverter, but sure beats the price!

Very compact, take much less room to carry then a large lens. With very good quality picture.
