Comments about Vanguard The Heralder 33 Bag (Black):

I like the top access, the removable sleeve for my 13" Mac Book Pro, the other removable sleeves and the roominess. The top access results in the handle being off center and carrying it by the handle a little awkward. I wanted a bag big enough for the 13" Mac Book but they all seem really larger than my ideal. Life is always a series of compromises. I carry at least two cameras, at least four lenses and flash. It has a rain cover and can carry a tripod.

Able to fit all camera gear, my table and hubby's laptop in it when traveling. Wasn't bad to carry around with me.

Comments about Vanguard The Heralder 33 Bag (Black):

One positive is that it is very well padded for protecting camera equipment while traveling but not for everyday use. It is difficult to access camera equipment quickly from the deep bag. Heralder 33 would make a better laptop bag for a business traveler than an everyday camera bag. I wasted money on the Heralder since I really don't need storage for my lenses. My last bag was a backpack-style Lowepro and I'm going back for a new Lowepro.

Comments about Vanguard The Heralder 33 Bag (Black):

I wanted a multi-purpose bag for travel. I wanted to be able to carry it comfortably, access it easily, and for it to fit my gear with extras. I like that I can access the bag through a zipper on top, my 70-200 lens attached to my camera fits perfectly, the strap is nicely padded, there is a tripod holder, my lap top fits and it has a rain cover. I will not use it as an everyday carry around bag...I still use a messenger for that but I will use it for air travel in that it is small enough for a carry on (with tripod stored in checked luggage). I will also use it to transport my gear to shoots. I purchased a small portable luggage cart to roll the bag when practical. The bag has a strap on the back of the bag that easily slips over the cart on top of another piece of luggage.
I researched many bags, rollers, backpacks, etc but this bag seems to have almost everything I required. The only improvement would be to add a zipper pocket on the exterior of the flap and to have dual zippers on top for easier access.
