Comments about Sharp LC52LE640U 52" AQUOS LED TV:

We use this monitor for presentations. We hook up this monitor from our Mac computer using a seperate HDMI cable going into the monitor.

Another plus is the usb feature. It allows us to run video loops from a usb jump drive.

The monitor will not play all formats of videos. But it does play our MP4 H.264 files. Audio from video works as long as the codec is AAC, I had problems playing a video with Linear PCM.

      Great TV so far.

Comments about Sharp LC52LE640U 52" AQUOS LED TV:

This TV went into a back bedroom where I retreat almost every night to watch The Daily Show and whatever else I've recorded through the day. We had an installer we like hang it on the wall and bought a Polk Audio SurroundBar 6000 to go on the wall under it. The TV is attached to a DTV receiver, Apple TV and Sony BD player, using 3 of its 4 HDMI inputs. The SurroundBar connects via the TV's optical output and the Bar's sub is wireless. I have everything synced to my DTV remote and the sound bar turns on and off by itself, depending on whether or not its being fed any audio.

So, love the TV, just as we have loved the 60" Sharp we have owned for our main TV for the last year or so. Sharp's a great brand, IMO, based on our experience with these two TV's and what I have read. Great picture, easy setup, easy to use menus.

With our other TV, the 60" Sharp, I had to go back later and turn off some video processing because it was throwing off the audio sync (Hint: check that out if you are having voice sync TV problems). But this TV does not have all those those extra options, which is fine. As far as I can tell, nothing that this TV does have in the menu that our larger, more expensive 60" does, makes any difference at all. The optional video processing that this TV does have, I turned off.

Love the TV, loved the price. B&H shipped it promptly for free and it got here in good shape. What's not to like?
