      Perfect Bag!

Comments about Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 (Black):

I've been trying different bags for years now but this bag has it all! Perfect size, lots of room and compartments for just about everything. I store my Sony A7r, flash, 70-200 mm lens, 16-35 mm lens, 50 mm lens, camera spare batteries, flash spare batteries, camera strap, wallet, phone, check book, flashlight, lens cleaning supplies, knife, tissues, cables and my IPad with charge cable! There is room for two spare bodies. Bag strap is very comfortable well padded. Overall well built bag!

Comments about Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 (Black):

As a 72 year-old enthusiast with a bad back, I'm concerned about the weight and comfort of a loaded camera bag. Instead of one large multi-purpose bag, I have several small bags, each for a different mode of travel -- air, car, back-pack, etc. The UD 40 V2.0 is my carry-on air travel bag. Typically, I travel with a Canon 6D w/24-105, a 70-200L f4, 35 f2, 430 EX, battery charger, an 11" MacBook Air, a Kindle Paperwhite, and a Garmin dash-mount GPS. The loaded bag is a bit heavy, but manageable. My tripod goes in a checked roller bag. At my destination, I remove the MBA, Kindle, and Garmin and strap the tripod to the bottom of the bag using the UD accessory straps. Overall, I find this bag is excellent for air travel. The only drawback occurs at the destination if, and when, I strap the tripod to the bottom of the bag. When I put the bag down, it falls over on it's side because of the tripod. Also the rain cover will not fit with a tripod strapped to the bag.

Nice bag, not so big as it appears

Comments about Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 (Black):

I thought this bag might hold a D800 but mine has an L bracket and that prevents a decent fit lens down. I had wanted this bag for a full frame kit and it won't work for that. I do have it holding my 7100 and three lenses. It will hold a 70-200/2.8 with the cap reversed and it holds a 300/4 Nikkor just fine. The front pockets expand to take a lot but make the bag awkward.
Think Tank makes good stuff and I have no complaints about the quality of the bag but IF I really wanted a bag for a full frame kit it would have to be larger. I read what I could find carefully but should have bought a bigger bag. As it is I needed one for the 7100 and the 800 can use my old worn backpack.

Comments about Think Tank Photo Urban Disguise 40 V2.0 (Black):

I wanted a camera bag that didn't scream camera bag while traveling, and this fit the bill perfectly (though still looks a bit like a laptop bag).

I'm able to fit my 5DIII with 24-105L attached, 50L, 70-200L IS II, 2x Extender III, and 16-35L all inside the main compartment. The bag also has a zipper to expand the main compartment, which is very useful in allowing me to reduce bulk when I'm only carrying 1 camera + 1 or 2 lenses. I do find that the bag barely closes when I have the 5DIII with 70-200/2.8 attached.

The main flap is well organized, and I use it to store business cards, pens, extra batters, and other accessories. I also like the memory card holder -- that's a nice bonus.

I haven't used the rain cover yet and have simply removed it for now, since it adds a bit of bulk (but is very lightweight).

The main compartment zippers are extremely durable, and also can be locked together for extra security. The dividers inside the main compartment attach to the walls by very strong hook+loop fasteners, and are very well padded.

Overall, the bag is very well built; I expected nothing less from ThinkTank, and am completely satisfied with what I received. The extra panel for attaching to a luggage is also quite handy.

The only downside is that the bag itself is rather heavy (because it is so well padded and durable), and even with minimal gear, can get a bit tiring to carry all day (fully loaded it can reach excess of 20 lbs).

I needed a carry bag that wasn't screaming CAMERA and the UD fills the bill perfectly. Plenty of room for my 5D3 on a 24-105 along with a 70-200l f4 and a 16-35L. I can even squeeze a flash in the side pocket. Very high quality product.
