Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

I bought this to hold 2 or more flashes together on a light stand. The build on the top seems solid but the mounting assembly is poorly designed and flimsy. It has trouble holding two flashes. The adjustable pivot point doesn't tighten up very well. It might be useful for holding a couple small video lights of tiny flashes, certainly not two speedlights with radio triggers.

      Pretty good

Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

Overall piece works great for the umbrella adapting, I don't like the shoe mount that well though. The metal piece on the bottom has an oblong shape that has to be in exactly the right position to be able to secure the nut holding the mount to your shoe base. It's fine if you don't need to keep detaching the mount, but if you take on and off frequently, it's a hassle.

Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

I have been waiting for something like this. I have made DIY rigs like this one but this is all in one piece. It's light plastic and the bottom shoe is kind of cheap, but overall it gets the job done and that job is holding receivers or lights or microphones. It also has 1/2 20 holes all over so that makes it even easier to attach to my Tascam unit.

Comments about Impact Multi Shoe Bracket With 2 Adjustable Shoes:

I bought a pair of LED lights to use at weddings. I wanted a horizontal mounting bracket with hot-shoe mounts so I could put a pair of the LED lights on a light stand.

The lug to mount this on a light stand is very flimsy. As tight as I can make it, it still seems wobbly on the light stand. There should be a different type of mounting bracket for attaching to a standard light stand.

I really thought it would be wider. The whole thing just seems flimsy, cheaply built, and poorly designed.
