Comments about Profoto D1 Air 3 Head Studio Kit - 1- 250W/s / 2- 500W/s:

I spent six months or more reading about, testing, and researching over two dozen different lighting manufacturers and found Profoto to be the most accessible durable, flexible, well built and usable monolight type lighting out of all that I studied. I purchased two of the 3 head kits with the plan to purchase additional units later this spring.

    Comments about Profoto D1 Air 3 Head Studio Kit - 1- 250W/s / 2- 500W/s:

From the moment you open the packaging it becomes clear why ProPhoto is the "Lexus" of the lighting world. Every piece of the set is thoughtfully designed, solidly built and works "as advertised". Most impressive is the radio control operation which is flawless, unlike my PocketWizard expensive radio system which is buggy and annoying. The lights are consistently reproducing the same accurate flash level, respond quickly and recycle in a second or so. The soft boxes and umbrelas are well build, the tripods are sufficiently strong to carry the heads. All in all I'm pretty happy with this studio kit.
