Comments about Black Swann RC Stealth Helicopter:

I purchased this unit to practice for a more expensive unit.

I should not be surprised, for the price, but this unit does not work very well at all. It lacks the lift to maintain steady flight, and drifts all over the place even indoors. Outdoors is completely hopeless, as even the merest midday zephyr will send it careening off into the distance, out of range.

Its chiefest weakness lies in the totally impotent tail rotor, which lacks the power to tilt the craft and effect any kind of control.

On the plus side, the rotor design tolerates impact very well without breaking, which is essential, because if you purchase this unit you will absolutely, positively crash it many times.

Comments about Black Swann RC Stealth Helicopter:

I bought the Black Swann at a local retailer and am happy with it. Easy to fly, bigger than other toy copters I've played with, and nice that it's radio controlled, not infrared (which means it works in sunlight).

The video camera works great, 640x480 resolution, and no audio, but easy to start and stop via the remote control unit's button.

There's also a button for lights on/off, and tail speed fast/slow, for smoother control.

The 1GB microSD card works great, and includes a microSD card reader, which is cool, because I always had to use an adapter before.

The power supply charges the copter battery pretty slowly, and it has flight times of 5-8 minutes, depending on how high and smooth your flying is.
