Comments about Crumpler Bronzed Extravaganza Bag (Black):

I rave about this bag to all my friends, and then they ask about the price, and I try to change the subject. But seriously, it's a bit pricey, but if you think about it more as a piece of luggage, the price starts making sense.

It's perfect for use as a airport carry-on. All my electronics go in here, laptop, DSLR, lenses, chargers, cables, with room for water bottle, sandwich, and light jacket. In a plane, it stores in the seat in front of me perfectly. It also attaches to the handle of other luggage.

I use it mainly for carting all my stuff from one home to another though. I like all the various configurations of the internal dividers. I've fit a 15" Macbook and an iPad in the laptop sleeve. I like how the whole bag's contents are visible when the top is open. I've been using this bag almost everyday for a year and see no signs of wear. It also is discrete and doesn't look like a camera bag. It's comfortable to tote, although it can get heavy when fully loaded. Red felt on the inside makes it obvious when compartments are open.

In short, I love this bag! I deduct one star for price. It also would be nice to have some kind of feet on the bottom, to prevent side roll in certain configurations.

(FYI, the product image shows the bag as somewhat brownish colored. In person, it's completely black)

Comments about Crumpler Bronzed Extravaganza Bag (Black):

The price scared me. However, after many bags it's nice to find one so well thought out; one I can grow into. And it will last many years, I'm sure.Ample room for a Sony notebook, Canon 70D, 24-70 and 70-200 lenses, an external microphone and a short Oben tripod. And there is room for more. Slots in the dual-zip lid are sized well to make filter, memory card and cap changes a breeze: no more having to dig around. The front storage area is perfect for a note pad, remotes, cleaning solution and other peripherals.Construction? Perfect. Really. It's strong, yet light weight for it's size. Regardless of how I load it, the bag stays upright. Padding is evident but not excessive. The strap is simple and effective.Style? I'm not about vanity, but it does scream "quality" just sitting on the floor. Very nice without being overbearing.
