Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I have been using this as my main bag for commuting and getting my camera to work or to the park. I am photography hobbyist, and I like to take my camera with me everywhere I go. This bag allows me to carry my Sony a6000 with attached 16-55mm lens, a 55-210mm zoom lens, a 90 mm macro with extension tube and adapter, a small flash, and some flash bouncers and filters, as well as a power adapter, strap, keys, wallet, pen, lenspen, and spare AAA batteries for the flash. I have to do a little stacking to make it all fit, but its a compromise between that and the relatively slim profile, and it doesn't matter since I'm mostly just trying to get gear from point A to point B. I take the bag with me on walks and in the field to switch lenses and to act as a weather protector if things go south. Water beads up nicely on the outer flap, though I wouldn't trust the waterproofing in a deluge. I can put stuff I want to access quickly on top with my camera in hand. And it has a fairly slim profile, which is nice. I use a smaller bag for just the camera, but this is great for the entire kit. Perfectly suits my needs. It has a padded tablet pocket as well, though I mostly store my diffusers and bouncers in there. The strap is fairly comfortable for short hikes.

There's really nothing wrong with it, though it would just be kind of cool if you could also access the storage area with a zippered panel an the side, so you didn't have to go around and pull out dividers to get to stuff further down.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I love this bag! It's very secure and has plenty of dividers that you can move around to your liking. I adjusted the dividers to hold my Sony A65 with lens attached, then put another divider over the lens so it can't go anywhere. My spare lens easily and securely fits in the other half of the bag I sectioned off. This setup works with both my regular and zoom (200mm) lens attached (at separate times, of course).
The smaller zipper holds my wallet, phone, extra batteries, SD cards, lens cleaning cloth and spray, ect.
Very lightweight. It gets a little heavy once you put the camera and 2nd lens in, but not too bad.
I love how secure it is! I was terrified putting my new camera in a bag, but I completely trust the bag now.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I use it to carry my work and personal things. Nikon camera with long lens fit perfect and have much more space for other fragile things. It also has a wonderful first pocket where wallet, pens, and accesories can be well protected. The best thing is an innovation by me :) I use it also to carry the tripod since it is small and fit perfect when I close the bag. Another supernice thing is the back space perfect for papers. At the end it looks serios and cool at the same time. Dont know what else to said but I have nothing bad. I recommend it to everyone.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Black):

I've had a number of Lowepro bags over time and this messenger bag is another example of Lowepro quality and efficient construction. Bought for my son for his first dslr bag and his first father's day. Easily holds his DSLR w/lens, his semi compact camera, & still has room for another small lens or flash or in his case storage for his battery charger & cord. IPad storage is perfect and room in the front for lens filter and other odds and ends. Well made and stylish. Might get one for myself at this price!

This bag's design is well thought out. You can fit plenty of gear for such a small bag.The strap is sewn into the bag so you cannot replace it. I don't think you can find a better bag for the money.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

This is the perfect size camera bag. Not too small, not too large. Great for daily use, when you just need one camera, one lens, and the various other things like memory cards, batteries, smartphone, etc. I like all the compartments. It's easy to get in and out of and find everything. Also fits an iPad. I used this bag every day on a recent trip to Morocco -- even used it as my purse when flying, with my gear in my larger carry-on camera bag. I'm very happy I bought this size camera bag.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Black):

This is a good size messenger bag. For me it replaces a much bigger bag, but holds almost as much. It easily holds a small or midsized DSLR with a midsize lens attached and 2 to 4 other lenses or 2 or 3 other lenses and a small or midsize flash. The front pocket holds filters, an extra batter or two, and misc gear.

I've collected a lot of bags over the years, but now I just use the Event Messenger 150 and the smaller 100.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I use this product to take it to kids ball games and photo walks etc..It looks and feels good and very light to carry. It fits 24-70 f2.8 attached to camera and 70-200 f2.8 easily after you remove all the extra partitions. Even though you can fit iPad or Surface with camera gear, i don't use it. I saw people complaining about the length of belt, I am 6'1" and it feels perfect to me. It could be personal preference though. If you are planning to take this bag for day or two with smaller lens, you could fit charger and may be flash. I have Caselogic backpack to lug around whole gear but this bag is very useful on a daily basis and you don't look like a DORK with this bag on :)

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

This bag was an excellent choice and I've thrilled with it. Well made, light weight, plenty of dividers for customization, and comfortable to carry. I have my Canon 6D plus attached Canon EF 24-105 mm F/4 (plus hood) + Canon EF 70-200 mm F/4 IS (plus hood) + Canon Speed lite 430 EX II and my Ipad. The front pouch holds my charger and batteries with plenty of room to spare, only bulging out the front ever so slightly. The extra pockets in there are perfect for the extra SD disk card or filters. I love the added feature of Velcro close for quick access, or latch close for security against jostling. This bag is perfect for walking in a city. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a easy and portable camera bag.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I recently bought a EOS M 18-55 kit and a 55-250 EF-S lens to go with it. This Messenger 150 is excellent for my needs. It's not too big, yet it can fit some extra stuff if I need it. I can even put my old 35-85 and a Zoom H4n inside the main compartment. The front part (under the flap) is nicely zippered and has multiple sacs where one can put items. The EOS M charger just fits perfectly into the leftmost pocket. I think there could be a better way to store SD cards. The current situation makes it so you have to push up from the bottom of the SD slot so you can remove it. Minor annoyance. The strap is also very high quality, with even a rubbery part on the inside so it can hold on to your shoulder better. In all, this bag is great for its value and worth.

So I have a lot of bags and did I need one more - the next perfect bag? Well yes! I have a Lowepro Hatchback but it's a little big for around town (a great bag). The messenger bag is perfect for just carrying some gear. I can fit a Pentax K5 with a 18-250 lens, a macro 90mm lens and another lens with a iPad and most of my "little" gear like filters, extra cards, etc. It's light weight and comfortable to carry.

Comments about Event Messenger 150 Shoulder Bag (Mica):

I fell in love with this bag completely! On shoots far away from my hometown, often this is all I need. It's lightweight, looks good, fits all and has all the pockets you can think of, it's totally perfect. If it was a man I'd marry it!

This is a n awsome bag. My favorie part of the bag is an area to store my iPad. Comfortable holds camera and two lens' It is a little tough to pull out a lens or anything else without removing the camera first.

Picked this up for a vacation, and it will cetainly force you to select carefully what you carry with you! A 70-200/2.8 will NOT fit if attached to the body, but will as a separate lens. The tripod collar will crowd things a lot, especially if you have a QR plate on it.

I managed to fit: a Canon 50d with 24-105/4L IS attached; a 70-200/2.8L, 50/1.4 and a 1.4tc. The camera and lens must lay on edge to fit, the 50 and 1.4tc are on the very bottom under 2 separators. Extra batteries must go into an end pocket. That's stuffed and bulges the front panel enough to make latching the cover difficult. Also if the front bulges much the compartments in front become squeezed too much to be useful for anything but paper-thin stuff. If you select this properly considering what you will carry and not overload it, this is a great bag.
