Comments about 650-1300mm f/8.0-16.0 Zoom Lens (White):

It's an okay lens for photography you'd care more about getting a zoomed image that's not real clear. Don't expect to shoot sharp images of birds a long way away. It's an under-$, long zoom lens--you have to keep that in mind. With an adapter it mounts easily to my Canon. This thing is hugely long at over 2 feet fully extended. Seriously, it's like something you'd see mounted as a trophy on the wall. But the zoom tube (it's a push/pull, not turn zoom) is pretty sloppy and the camera sags, hanging on the end of the zoom tube, resulting in not perfect alignment along the lens without a support. You really need a long/large lens support system to use this, which adds to the cost and complexity in setting this up. I stopped using it because of the poor quality of the build and glass. I do have other Rokinon/Samyang cine lenses that I find of very good quality. Seems the manufacturer could have done a better job.

Comments about 650-1300mm f/8.0-16.0 Zoom Lens (Black):

It is very easy to use. It's so great because it gives very sharp images at F8 and his focal length can reach 4000 with the converter 2x and in APS-C mode.

Comments about 650-1300mm f/8.0-16.0 Zoom Lens (White):

This lens is just what it says it is. For the money you are getting a lens to work with and everyone should know tropod use only . If you had the same size lens for 30,000 dallors a tripod would be needed also. That comes from reading the other review on this lens.not sure if anyone could hold a 1300mm lens still to get a good picture. My use was for the moon to start with and worked out well after playing with it. I would say to is a good buy for the money.

    Focus ring does not work

    By Tim

Comments about 650-1300mm f/8.0-16.0 Zoom Lens (White):

Even though it says the brand is Rokinon here, the shipment was a Samyang. But that's ok since Rokinon, Samyang, Bower, Phoenix are all just the same company with different names. The lens is just terrible. It is very heavy, so you MUST have a tripod. Forget about holding it with your hand while shooting, your arms will hurt very fast. When you turn the focus ring, nothing happens to the image you're looking at. Either I got a defective product or it can't focus....absolutely NOTHING happens to the image when you turn the focus ring. All in all, $[$] down the drain. Do yourself a huge favour and don't buy this. Completely worthless.
