Comments about Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 HD Fisheye Lens with Removable Hood for Pentax K:

Good value, provides a creative alternative that can make for some really nice scenes (see my uploaded example photos taken with Pentax K-5 II), includes squeeze-to-release lens cap that secures nicely to grooves in top & bottom petals of lens hood plus a good faux leather drawstring pouch. Instructions seem a bit terse (and cover multiple versions for other cameras such as Nikon, et al) but do provide enough specific Pentax info to make it work correctly [set aperture ring to red "A-dot" indicator just to left of F/22 by holding small chrome plated button depressed while turning ring; set mode dial to Av - Aperture priority and set focusing lever to MF - Manual focus... input 8mm focal length when prompted by the camera]. Focusing ring has nice ribbing and is easy to use, but for most shots this lens will be set to Infinity (focusing can be used for subject distances of about 5 feet or less).

The distortion isn't too much and is acceptable.

Comments about Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 HD Fisheye Lens with Removable Hood for Pentax K:

I bought this for use at a wedding but also because I thought a real fisheye would be cool. You can't beat the kind of distortion a lens like this produces, and I expect to have a lot of fun with it. Because of the very short focal length, I almost don't need to focus it, which is good because it does not autofocus. One thing to remember when you put it on the camera is to set the camera to manual focus. Otherwise, the camera may refuse from time to time to release the shutter.

Comments about Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 HD Fisheye Lens with Removable Hood for Pentax K:

I´m happy with the fact that the aperture is set automatically in all camera modes, , I set the focus for 2 feet and all is well.
If I change to a future Pentax with a full frame, it will still work as a circular fisheye, by detaching the lens hood. Forward compatible if you will. Photographs are great as well.
You must set the ¨mm¨on the camera for the shake reduction to work well. ;this is easy as the camera K5 prompts you every time you out this lens on
