Comments about Nikon WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller Transceiver:

These WR-R10's of course allow you to remotely activate your Nikon cameras. But think of the possibilities...sneak a camera into areas at a church where the official would not normally wish to see a photographer! This could be discreetly placed behind the altar, neatly camouflaged, to get wedding shots that are not normally taken. Good range, easy to use.

Comments about Nikon WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller Transceiver:

Use it at weddings for behind-the-couple shots from the minister's point-of-view. Gives a unique perspective without being intrusive. Absolutely essential in my opinion.

Comments about Nikon WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller Transceiver:

How I use the product? Amateur photographer
Things that are great about it? Allows me to take remote control of a Nikon D5100 wirelessly without pointing the transmitter at the camera. for group shots that include me. Includes a little storage bag.
Things that aren't great about it? Documentation was poorly presented. Very small fonts. Few illustrations. Needlessly confusing. Nikon obviously wanted to cram as many languages as possible on a single sheet of paper. Not much warning about how easy it is to insert the device in the socket in the camera in the wrong orientation and damage the socket. LOOK FOR THE BLACK ARROW!
This device was designed to be used with the Nikon transmitter, NIWRT10.
I am no expert, but apparently there may be third party wireless devices on the market that perform the same function that are less expensive. I did not want to take the gamble.
