Comments about Cokin 77mm Extension Ring:

High precision manufacturing. Threading on ring is smooth and easy. Appropriate identifier markings on the side of the ring make it easy to determine size of the ring when reaching into the camera bag. All in all, happy with this purchase.

    It works

Comments about Cokin 77mm Extension Ring:

I use this extension ring in conjunction with the Lee filter holder system to obtain adequate filter clearance on certain lenses. It works. You get approximately the same result by purchasing a cheap universal lens hood and removing the rubber hood from the metal (or plastic) ring.

Gadget to help with polarizing filter

Comments about Cokin 77mm Extension Ring:

I purchased the extension ring to use in combination with a polarizing filter. Many reviews complain about the difficulty to remove those from the lens due the lack of grip (too thin). By adding an extension ring and screwing the polarizing filter into the extension ring you have plenty of grip getting them off the lens. Works as I had hoped.
