The Redrock Micro Nikon to Canon EF Adapter allows you to connect Nikon lenses to your Canon EOS camera (in this case, the camera I was using was the t3i). As I had many old Nikon lenses that were not in use, I decided to purchase an adapter.

My immediate concern was that it would not fit, but upon receiving it, my worries soon dissolved as I attached the adapter. It fits perfectly on my lenses and there is no wiggle when focusing or zooming (even on my heavy Quantaray zoom lens), which is crucial for shooting video. Because the adapter requires very tiny screws and can be mildly challenging to attach, I recommend purchasing one adapter per lens. This way, you won't need to worry about removing and re-attaching the adapter to a new lens, or losing screws in the process (on that note, be sure not to lose any screws, as the adapter does not come with any replacements).

All in all, this is an excellent product with good construction and excellent value. it is also one of the most affordable adapters I have seen. If you already have good Nikon lenses, this will save you potentially hundreds of dollars by allowing you to use Nikon Lenses with your Canon cameras.

    Happy shooting!

I had another adapter which actually works even better.
The way you have to screw down makes it impossible to swap lens on the go. Also it had worse fitting for my old 85 1.4 ai-s. Granted it's an old lens, so that might be why it didn't fit.
I just expected better and did not received the fit i needed.
Too loose and there was too much movement.

Comments about Redrock Micro 2-063-0001 Nikon to Canon EF (EOS) Lens Mount Adapter:

Have purchased several different lens adaptors - all are pretty poor - Some don't like going on Canon C100 / C300 sometimes - or they don't focus to infinity as the adaptors are too thick - and the lens always moves when u change focus... This RedRock Micro one screws onto the lens... is thin so I'm sure will focus to infinity - doesnt really move once on the lens (still a tiny bit of movement) but more solid than others - doesnt move the lens when u turn focus barrel - its the best adaptor I've seen for the price - only thing that might be better is the $ adaptor - i think this is the best buy

Comments about Redrock Micro 2-063-0001 Nikon to Canon EF (EOS) Lens Mount Adapter:

I own a BMCC and 3 zeiss .zf lenses (21mm, 35mm, 50mm). I'm not sure how well they fit on nikon glass, but they are terrible on my Zeiss ones. The adapter comes loose from the lens almost immediately, and the screws put SUBSTANTIAL damage on my lenses. Do not use these adapters at all.

I attached it to a Micro Nikkor 55mm and it works fine but it won't work if I interpose an extension tube between the lens and my IDS Mark III
With the extn. tube the camera gives an error message.

This is the ONLY adapter out there that has zero play between it and every lens. Even my $200 Nova adapter has play.

This is the only adapter I would ever suggest for video use, because play when shooting video results in jarring video shift that is just plain ugly.

Decent build but the screw sets are just nutty. Tiny little allen wrenches (that you'll never find again) mean that these adapters are on to stay. It works for me now but as I look at this old nikon glass that I have them on I realize that I may want to use the lenses for other video purposes like the new metabones for BMCC.
For something so simple it would seem easy, but of course it isn't.
For my dough find an adaptor that goes on and off more easily.

This is easily the most solid Nikon to Canon EF mount adapter available, for a great price too.

The included screws give a completely play free connection between the lens and the camera.

Top notch quality from RedRock Micro as always.

Comments about Redrock Micro 2-063-0001 Nikon to Canon EF (EOS) Lens Mount Adapter:

I bought an Canon EF mount adapter for my Nikon lens so that I could use it on my Canon C100 and 60D or video. My old adapter was made by Bower and it had a lot of play which I hated. When I saw the Red Rock Micro adapter I though... I'll give it a shot since they make some great gear. I wasn't disappointed.

There are 4 very small allen head screws that come with the adapter to lock it onto the lens. The micro allen wrench also comes with it. You snug then down and are good to go. No sloppy play! I plan to look for more Nikkor lenses and use these adapters. Get one!
