Comments about Q7 Compact Mirrorless Camera with 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 Zoom Lens (Silver):

A great update to the original Q. Despite switching from a metal to a plastic body I would highly recommend this camera. If you have the original Q or Q10 this camera is well worth updating too. The screen is a major improvement; in detail, brightness and accuracy. Also the in camera jpg engine is significantly improved (I now shoot RAW+JPG). The image quality, dynamic range and color etc is much improved due to the larger sensor. In addition all lens are slightly wider now due to the smaller crop factor; which is a good thing (for me at least). The focusing is much improved as well; it's faster and more accurate. The quality of the lens and camera are great and I often am shocked at the results I get from this tiny system camera.

Comments about Q7 Compact Mirrorless Camera with 5-15mm f/2.8-4.5 Zoom Lens (Silver):

This is a very fun camera to own and use. The best way to describe it is a dSLR shrunk to an incredibly small size. By dSLR, I mean feature-set and the ability to change lenses (which are also incredibly small). The image quality is comparable to what you will get from a quality enthusiast point-and-shoot (think the Canon Powershot S90 thru S110 series).

I'm pleased with the image quality this produces up thru ISO800. You can even go higher but you may need to do extra work in post-processing on the noise.

I have a m4/3 kit as my main camera. But what I love about the Q7 is that I can carry it (with the 01 prime lens mounted) in the pocket of my cargo shorts and then carry the 03 fisheye lens and 06 long zoom lens in the other pocket).

I added "Learning Photography" as one of my uses because I can carry this portable kit anywhere without worrying about a separate bag...so I always have it with me. This means its easy for me to pull out when I have some time available to me to experiment.

It is a fun camera to use.
