This is a special Sync Cord for connecting Ikelite Strobes to a Digital SLR in a housing ONLY!

Nikonos protocol strobes do not operate TTL with the Nikon D-TTL (D100, D1, D1X and D1H) or Canon E-TTL (D-30, D-60 and 10D) digital SLR Flash metering systems. These cameras requires this special sync cord which allows Ikelite SubStrobes to operate in manual mode and provide fractional powers when used with a housing. SubStrobe 50 operates full power only. Conversion circuitry to provide TTL operation is not available.

The Manual Controller #4100.6 can be utilized to provide 10 power settings in half-stop increments with either the DS-50 or DS-125 SubStrobes.
