CEMAX is an acronym for 'Contrast Enhanced'. Designed specifically for use with Coronado's H-Alpha solar viewing systems, this Barlow lens is fully multicoated to ensure maximum contrast enhancement for solar viewers.

The CEMAX Barlow lens is not a solar filter. When employed as part of a solar viewing system, it must be used in conjunction with a blocking filter and a SolarMax filter.
