The Whirlwind Medusa Connect Series 16 Channel (4x XLR Connector} Return) Snake is a snake cable with a heavy-duty steel stagebox at one end and a fanout at the other end. It features 16 channels, with an additional 4 return lines.

Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multipair cable, making setup and teardown much faster and easier, with less tangling and clutter than would otherwise be the case.
