The Tempo SATA ExpressCard/34 Controller Card from Sonnet adds two eSATA ports to your notebook computer. It installs in the ExpressCard/34 slot and is fully compatible with Mac and Windows systems. The eSATA interface supports bus transfer speeds of up to 300MB/sec, making this card an excellent choice to allow you to add high-speed and capacity external storage to your laptop computer.
- eSATA Storage
- eSATA storage supports bus transfer rates of up to 300MB/sec. This makes it an excellent solution for video editing applications that require high data bandwidth and throughput. Adding this card to your notebook computer allows you to connect an eSATA hard drive to it.
- Port Multiplier
- The integrated port multiplier allows you to connect up to 5 hard drives to each port on the card.
- Backwards Compatible
- The card is fully backwards compatible with legacy eSATA 1.5Gb/s devices. This allows you to connect eSATA 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s devices to the same card.
