The Monster-Power Home Theater PowerCenter HTS 950 is an affordable Power Center that incorporates Monster Clean Power Stage 1 circuitry which filters both AC powerline noise and reduces noise generated by your connected equipment. Clean Power Stage 1 features two ultra-advanced, isolated filters that include analog audio and digital, plus an ultra-high current audio filter to provide for the best possible AC powerline noise rejection and inter-component isolation for improved component-generated noise rejection. All of these features make the HTS 950 ideal for your home theater system.
The Monster HTS 950 features a high surge absorption capacity of over 2775 Joules for excellent power protection. Unlike ordinary surge protectors, advanced Monster PowerCenters also actively monitor incoming power and automatically disconnect your valuable equipment before damage occurs. Tri-Mode protection circuitry incorporates an audible alarm that will tell you when your PowerCenter has protected your AV system from damage.
- Switched and Unswitched Outlets
- When turned to the ON position, the unit provides power to components plugged into the switched outlets. Pressing the switch to the OFF position shuts off power to switched outlets. Components plugged into Always On (unswitched) outlets still receive power, however, provided the PowerCenter is plugged into a 120V outlet.
- Color Coding
- The HTS 950 provides color-coded outlets that are specially labeled for home theater. Also included are corresponding color-coded stickers for your components' power cords.
- All of the 8 switched AC power outlets are widely spaced to accommodate bulky AC adapters.
- 24k gold-plated contacts for maximum power transfer.
