The Bolide Technology Group AVR is an ultra compact DVR suitable for a wide range of portable and covert surveillance applications. Video recording automatically starts when motion is detected from the connected camera and is stored to the included 128MB SD memory card, upgradeable to 2GB maximum. Aside from being the only images most people will want to see anyways, motion detection based recording saves on storage resources and also makes it easy to locate event material. Recorded images can be viewed by inserting the memory card into a PC's SD card reader or by connecting the unit directly to a TV via its RCA video output.
