The SE-900 Video Switcher from Datavideo is an SD video switcher that accepts up to (8) inputs and offers an expandable core set of features that allow you to configure or build a custom system that meets your exact needs. The system consists of two pieces: a control panel and a rack-mount processor. It will accept a mix of input cards, including DV, SDI, DVI, YUV, and composite video. Outputs on the unit include DV, composite, component, and S-video, and SDI can optionally be installed. Each input has a frame synchronizer and TBC.
Preview functions on the unit include a YUV/composite multi-image output with "next source" and "next effect" that allows you to evaluate an effect before the audience does. Audio functionality includes an audio delay for DV and an optional audio embedder for SDI streams.
This unit also includes over (50) digital effects, including special effects and transitions. Other features include joystick control, picture-in-picture functionality, tally outputs, and GPI input triggers. Moreover, it offers RS-232 or RS-422 remote control interfaces.
Note! Please note that use of this system requires input cards, which are not included with the unit and must be purchased separately.
