The Jobu-Design Horizontal Mount Upgrade for the JR-2 (Black Widow Gimbal JR-2) is a simple, rugged device that converts the standard side-mount lens orientation of the JR-2 version to a top-mount. This makes it more ideal for use with larger heavy telephoto lenses.
Top-mounting allows easier handling when loading the lens and camera onto the head. One hand is free to balance the lens, while the other tightens the clamp. Especially ideal for use with spotting scopes.
- L-shaped mount has three height-levels to allow for centering of different sized lenses and cameras.
- The existing quick release clamp transfers from its vertical orientation on the Jr. 2 to a horizontal position on the mount.
