The OLC Fiber-Optic System from RTcom is a system designed to transmit DVI signals over fiber-optic cable, allowing you to achieve extended transmission distances not possible with standard-format cables. This system is capable of transmission up to 2300' without degrading signal quality. It is well suited for use in home-theater applications and similar setups that require remote placement of source-signal and display devices.
The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver. Signals are converted to travel over fiber-optic cabling (not included with this item) from the transmitter and then returned to their original format upon reception at the receiver unit. The system is HDCP-compliant and offers EDID functionality.
Note! Requires OLC-series cabling, length determined according to users specific requirements.
Does not include cabling.
