The Lightwave A5 Boompole is designed by Rycote and is constructed of lightweight aluminum. The boompole is specifically designed for T.V. and news broadcast applications. The A5 features a unique locking-cam design, eliminating threaded connections and allowing easy section breakdown for cleaning and maintaining. The five-section pole features a total length of 98-inches (2.49m) and a retracted length of 26-inches (0.66m). The pole is durable and without any metal parts at all, the A5 is incredibly easy to maintain and features an ultra lightweight.
